We have doors!

I stopped by the house yesterday after work. We have doors on rooms and closets, trim, window sills, and our cabinets are being put in! It looks beautiful!
The kitchen island is sitting in the morning room. I can't wait to see it all come together!!

My attempt at a picture of the master bath. They put up our mirrors & cabinets before painting. Is this normal??

I was surprised that the railing on the stairs goes all the way up! Love it!

  3. The cabinets look gorgeous!! I can't wait to see mine. That's great news about your stair rails. I love it! I opted out of it because it was just the bottom portion of the stairs. :(

  4. Oh, I'm not sure about the painting either since I haven't been to the house in almost a week. I'll stop by tonight and let you know!

  5. Thanks guys! I cannot stay away from the house. We visit several times a week and something changes each time. Love it!

@SW-we didn't think the railing went all the way up either. It was a fantastic surprise. Let me know about the painting & take pictures! I'll be watching for them :)

  6. maryishness: I stopped by the house today after work but it was too dark for me to go in or take pictures. I did stop in the model home and talked to my sales rep. He said that they should be painting first at least before the floors go in. You should ask your PM asap!

  7. Thanks for the picture of the railing. We have that also, but since it was a new change after we signed from just the bottom portion of the stairs to now the whole staircase, we haven't seen any pictures.

  8. Our PM says they paint multiple times during the process..so I guess they are accustomed to fixtures being around.

I guess a downside is the fixture are no likely to be painted behind them.

  9. Just catching up on the blogs. I a very surprised to see the mirrors up before at least the initial priming was completed.
